1.7 - Norsk Data services

The page will be a bit more detaljed later, but briefly I can say that, among other things, the following services can be performed. If you need any services other than those listed here or have any question about the listed services, please contact Jonny Oddene.

Hardware service
Software service, patches
Analysis of Sintran MEMTOF
Analysis of Sibas internal error, dump
Convert Notis-WP files to .TXT files readable on other platforms
Convert various other files for use on other platforms
Unload data from Sibas databases and convert them to f.ex. readable ASCII files
Copy files to other media such as UNIX TAR tape, PC floppy, QIC-80 tape, CD ROM etc.
Read ND backup media like 70MB and 288MB disk packages, floppy disks, streamer tapes, magtapes, etc.
Read various non-ND media like floppy disks, magtapes, etc.
Convert ND ÆØÅ to other formats
Remove parity on symb/text files
Convert data to/from EBCDIC
Check to see that you have an ok backup by doing a test restore at our site
Erase ND backup media and issue secure erased certificates
Programming on ND machines
